Frozen mango yogurt

Plain natural bio yogurt with ripe mangoes, topped with oat and almond crumbles for a healthy dessert.

Methods

for the frozen yogurt

  1. Mix 500 ml natural bio yogurt with 4 -5 ripe mangos.

  2. Blitz it in a blender.

  3. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar. Taste and add more sugar if you like it sweeter. 

  4. Pour in an old ice cream tub and freeze.

For the crumbles 

  • 110g plain flour 

  • a pinch of salt

  • 100g cold unsalted butter, cut in cubes

  • 75g soft light brown sugar

  • 35g oatmeal

  • 35g ground almond

Put flour and salt in a bowl. Add the cubes butter and rub in with your fingers until the mixture looks like bread crumbs. The stir in sugar, oatmeal and ground almond. Rub in well. 

Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet and bake in an  190c oven for 20-25 minutes.
